The Indianapolis Region has grown over the years, spawning many different organizations all designed to help market Indianapolis. The Indianapolis Region Branding Initiative seeks to develop a single, cohesive brand that will capture the essence of what the Indianapolis region has to offer. I worked with a team at Dean Johnson to help develop a unifying logotype that each of the "sub-brands" could use. Some members chose to keep their original icon and simply use our logotype with it. Others requested new icon designs to better suit the overall branding initiative. Our team also created a set of brand standards that suggested photographic styles, design elements, colors, and typography that would reinforce the Indianapolis brand.
