Reggie’s Mortorworks

Creative Direction, Art Direction, Design, Marketing Strategy

My relationship with Reggie came about because I was in my twenties, had just purchased a very vintage BMW to use as my daily driver, and needed some work on it. He was just beginning to start a BMW repair shop. We decided to swap design work in exchange for work on my car. In the ensuing 15+ years, he’s grown a lot (he now has two locations) and I have too.

This was a fun project. European car owners tend to be enthusiasts. Customers were given small flyers that they could leave under the windshield wiper of a sweet ride that they wanted to show some respect to. The back of each flyer has a code unique to that customer and a promotional coupon. If it gets used, both the giver and the recipient get shop credit. We made a unique flyer for each of the popular German auto brands. See if you can guess each one. :-)

Noble Auto Service is a new brand recently launched by Reggie. He is taking the legendary Reggie’s Motorworks Experience that he has come to be known for and now offering it to domestic and asian import car owners as well. The shop is located next-door and the branding indicates the relationship through typography and retaining the shield icon.
