I solved the problem that put a blue border around all hyper linked images in PC browsers. It was an easy fix. Next up is to re-shoot all of the photos on a more respectable background.

I have gotten some really good feedback regarding the site and I have made some slight design changes. First of all, the images in the portfolio portion of the site now load at the top and the explanation of the project now loads at the bottom. My thought was that people would be more inclined to read the thought process behind the project if I put it first... That turned out to not be true. In addition, I also added a much more easy to find link to the video on the Blue Note pages in the portfolio section. As it turns out, most people didn't even realize that the project was first and foremost a video! I guess that just shows that people are not interested in reading that much text on the web. Nevertheless, I think that the changes are all major improvements and I thank everybody that was kind enough to leave feedback.

Welcome to my website. This is the first post to the home page and I hope that it marks many
more to come. This site was built by hand in XHTML and CSS. I might also mention that it is the
first time that I have built a website in this manner. If you take a look at the source code, you
will notice that the markup is completely free of tables and that all of the layout of this
site is handled completely by CSS. Given that it is the first time that I have built a website
in this way, I am betting that it is not free of minor bugs and problems, but I am working on it.
Enough of this technical rambling, please take the time to take a look at my portfolio and if you
feel so inclined, go ahead and send me an email with your thoughts. All positive criticism is welcomed
and greatly appreciated.
